Uncover Insights from Geographic Data to Support USARPAC Missions

Are you a detail-oriented geospatial analyst with a passion for extracting valuable insights from geographic data? If so, this US Army Pacific (USARPAC) Geospatial Analyst position within the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) could be your ideal opportunity.

In this critical role, you'll play a vital role in supporting USARPAC operations by leveraging your geospatial expertise. You'll collaborate closely with team members to:

• Geospatial Data Management: Gather, analyze, and store geospatial data using advanced software tools and methodologies.
• Intelligence Production: Extract key information from geospatial data to inform intelligence reports and support decision-making.
• Terrain Analysis: Analyze geographical areas of interest, considering factors such as defense suitability and environmental conditions.
• Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate geospatial concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

To be successful, you'll possess:

• Academic Background: A Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in geospatial software tools and a strong understanding of geospatial data analysis techniques.
• Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze complex data sets and extract relevant intelligence for mission support.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences.
• Collaboration: A strong desire to work effectively within a team environment and share knowledge with colleagues.

An ideal candidate will also possess:

• Military Experience: Experience working within the defense industry or familiarity with military operations is a plus.
• Advanced Skills: Knowledge of geospatial data management principles and experience with geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) is desirable.
